A Day for Firsts

Well. Today was interesting. As the title says, it was a day for firsts. It was the first time I used my debit card. It was the first time I drove with my permit. It was the first time I drove on the interstate. And it was the first time I've ever had a car battery die on me... while I'm sitting on a steep hill. On a busy intersection.

Fun stuff, huh?

*smile* It was actually a pretty good day - despite all the frustrations that Dad and I had with the car (he had almost no idea about exactly what was wrong until we got another battery in there - and he's great with cars [I can count on one hand the number of times we've ever had to have a vehicle in the shop for any reason]). Just interesting.

Oh, and an update is coming (to both of my blogs). *Janessa dances joyfully* :)

Do you have an AOL?

I stumbled upon your blog and I'm glad I did because it's an inspiring account of your walk with God. In many ways, it's also uncannily similar to mine, dailyrenewal.blogspot.com. If I had been as strong a Christian in high school as you obviously are, I hope I would have been able to share my thoughts and my testimony in a similar manner.

Megan,

Our internet has been down, so I have'nt had a chance to check this.

Dear Megan, that tribute was so very sweet! Yes, it's hard to believe that it has already been five years. Wow. You are also such a sweet friend and comrade in life. It will be interesting to see where God takes all of us in the journey of life.

Love you dear!

Jane
