Don't they say the best time to write is when you're sleepy?

*Warning: I take no responsibility for my spelling after the hour of 10 pm on Thursday nights.*

Well, it's late, but I'm up waiting for Mum and Dad to get home so that we can bag and freeze some more chickens. *sigh* Joy, joy. Thankfully, it will propably be the last of 3 sessions in the same number of days.

It's been one of those days when I've done so many things that I'm constantly moving, yet never seem to get very much accomplished. Honestly, I don't remember half of what I did today, but I know I must have been doing something. ;-)

We had a customer come out today that spent over an hour at the farm. I don't mind too much, I just wish I'd have had more than 20 minutes notice that he was coming. As any member of a large family know all too well, it's hard to make a home with a household of 8 look presentable in 20 minutes. But, thankfully, the guys were able to do it. And I know that Mom enjoyed talking with Mike(the customer.) Honestly, he seemed to me like a 20 year old stuck in a 50 year old's body. LOL. Not that that's a bad thing - he just seemed very... chill... hippie... cool...(if any of that makes sense).

I read Tut's Mummy this afternoon. Talk about borning. I can't believe how simple and short the sentances were. Granted, it was written for 2nd graders, but I still think you can give 7 year olds more credit than this author was willing to. Anyway, Tut's Mummy was just preliminary reading for a hilarious farce on the whole idea of discovering ancient stuff of great worth and historical importance(notice my braod vocabulary in the word, "stuff".) -

I've got to go: Mom and Dad are home. I'll write more tomorrow(maybe).

Twala,

~Megan
