It's been a few years since I sat down and crafted any real New Year's resolutions. As a kid, I loved resolutions. I loved lists, and I loved plans to better myself, and those two things led to a natural love for creating New Year's resolutions. Somewhere around college, I stopped. I think I got a little tired, and maybe a little cynical of these plans that never seemed to lead very far. But I'm back, and I'm declaring 2012 the year of "working through stuff." And priorities. With that, here are some of my resolutions and "to do" items for 2012, in no particular order:
1. Buy a gym membership (Gold's Gym Express, or Fitness Connexion).
2. Read a minimum of two non-fiction books per month.
3. Try out Spotify Premium for at least 1 month ('cause it's free).
4. Attend Natalie and Stephen's wedding.
5. Start a new blog.
6. Take the GRE.
7. Buy a Kindle.
8. Buy a camera.
9. Use camera from #8 to update FB photo once per month. (Says the girl who hasn't updated her photo since October of 2010.)
10. Get a place of my own.
There's more to come, but that'll suffice for now. Goodbye, 2011: you were a strange year, but I kind of liked you.

Good resolutions! I'm almost inspired to make a list of my own now. :-) I know you will succeed in doing these things! Please let me know of any good books you read this year. Oh! I even have a non-fiction book (really late birthday present and now a really late Christmas present...) to send to you as soon as I can get to the post office!

I can't wait to get it! :) And if you do end up making a list... let me know, 'cause I'd love to see it!
